Half a Century of Service in Istanbul

Sheikh Talan outlined the activities of his union, stating: "We are active in Turkey to introduce and strengthen the school of Islam, and we will strive to reflect the activities and achievements of religious institutions."

Emphasizing the necessity of exchanging experiences between religious centers in Iran and Turkey, he added: "We believe we must share our experiences with one another and utilize existing capacities to strengthen religious and cultural activities. Without a doubt, we will greatly benefit from the experiences and capacities of Iran's Islamic seminaries."

The head of the Union of Jafari Scholars of Turkey continued: "We have been serving scholars and the religious community in Istanbul for nearly half a century. We consider ourselves part of the seminary establishment and believe that seminary institutions are truly the voice and eyes of the clergy in society."

Turkey's Channel 12: A Key Platform for Ahl al-Bayt Teachings

Highlighting media activities and capacities in Turkey, Sheikh Talan said: "Media activities have also been pursued, and Turkey's Channel 12 is among the capacities active in promoting the school of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and can play a role in reflecting religious activities and Islamic institutions."

He continued: "In the media dimension, we work to promote and explain religious content and have always sought to utilize media capacity. We produce content on Channel 12 covering events and religious occasions across the Islamic world, and we have consistently strived to engage political and religious elites on this network."

Sheikh Talan stressed the importance of scholarly engagement with society, saying: "Past scholars also carried out extensive activities to maintain direct contact with the people and respond to society's needs. Despite pressures and restrictions imposed on scholars at various junctures, they never abandoned their religious mission."

He added: "This continuity of activity led to the expansion of the Ahl al-Bayt school in this country. The connection between scholars and the people, and their presence in society, has been among the key factors in sustaining religious activities."

Hawzah News Agency: A Platform for Narrating Religious Activities

For his part, Hojatoleslam Rostami said: "Today, favorable grounds have been established for developing media relations between Islamic seminaries and Turkey's religious centers and media outlets. Hawzah News Agency has been working to strengthen its international presence in this direction."

The director of the Media and Cyberspace Center of Islamic Seminaries pointed to the launch of the Turkish-language section of Hawzah News Agency, stating: "Today, in addition to Persian, Hawzah News Agency publishes news and religious content in 15 other languages, including Turkish. We hope that through cooperation with Turkish scholars and religious institutions, we can better introduce and narrate the cultural, promotional, and religious activities carried out in that country."

Rostami noted that the cultural and religious commonalities between the Iranian and Turkish nations have created valuable capacity for media cooperation, saying: "One of the most important manifestations of these commonalities is the love and devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the holding of mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein (AS)."

He added: "At certain points in the history of both countries, holding certain religious programs and rituals faced restrictions. But today we witness the magnificent holding of mourning ceremonies and the strong presence of people in these programs. This demonstrates the important role of scholars in preserving religious identity, guiding public opinion, and shaping cultural currents."

The director of the Media and Cyberspace Center of Islamic Seminaries emphasized the mission of Hawzah News Agency, stating: "Hawzah News Agency strives to serve as a loudspeaker and platform for reflecting the news and activities of the holy religion of Islam, Islamic seminaries, scholars, and cultural and religious institutions."
